Good friend Doug Thomson sent me a wonderful photo of his young son excitedly touching an alligator, and I thought I would share the image and Doug’s accompanying narrative with you:
“On our recent trip to Oak Island, NC, we had promised our 4 year old son that we would take him down to Myrtle Beach to visit Alligator Adventure. If we could have bottled that excitement and given it away, I don’t think there would have been a sad soul in the entire world. I could not help but think of the ‘What are little boys made of’ poem when we finally got inside Alligator Adventure. The innocence of a child is such a wonderful blessing. I’ve included the poem below.”
What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails
That’s what little boys are made of !
