A handful of music giants helped create the modern music industry as we know it, and one of the most influential of those music pioneers was guitar legend Les Paul. His accomplishments throughout his long and distinguished career were many, but perhaps the most important of them all was his invention of the electric guitar.
Perhaps the best measure of Paul’s influence on the music world was his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Inventors Hall of Fame, each of which is a huge accomplishment on it’s own. Indeed, folks who have never even heard of the man can see and hear the results of his talents, ingenuity and labors. Les Paul was 94.
