Blue Ridge Country magazine is one of my favorite publications, and I await with eager anticipation the arrival of each new edition. Every issue is jam-packed with photographs and articles highlighting the unique beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the wonderful people who call the “Mountain South” home.
This region is blessed with some of the most amazing scenery you will find anywhere on the planet, and the stunning photos in each issue are simply breathtaking to say the least. Taken by skilled photographers both local and from points far and wide, the images of mountain valleys, quiet sleepy towns and everything in between give you a real sense of what you can expect to see and experience during a well-timed visit to the region.
The many fine craftsmen and musicians whose roots run deep in the hills and hollers of the southern Appalachians have a million delightful and intriguing stories to tell, and every issue of Blue Ridge Country brings a selected few of them to its readers. I am so blessed to be able to live in such a wonderful place, and every time I pick up the next issue of Blue Ridge Country, I’m reminded of that fact once again.
