Regular visitors to RickRouse.com will notice a drastic change in the site’s appearance. I made the changes for two reasons:
1 – The black background and small Tahoma font made the posts and comments hard to read, and…
2 – I just wasn’t happy with the depressing mood of the dark swampy-looking image in the header.
My wife Cheria took the photo that now graces the top of each page, and I think it better reflects the intent and “mood” of the site than the one it replaced. I hope you like the new look, and I welcome your comments about it.
I like the new look and the longer days.
Thank you! It’s much easier to read now.
By the way, Merry Christmas!!
I’m glad you like it Phyllis. Merry Christmas!
Thanks Casey. And Merry Christmas to you a well!
The picture is absolutely beautiful. Is your wife a professional photographer? Love the new look.
I like it a lot better too. I love your writings but I always seemed to leave your site with a headache. I’ll be returning a lot more often now.
Hi Rick, I really liked your blog. With whatever less it has, it shines out bright through your effervescent writing style and elegance. Am pleased to meet a person like you.
I really liked your concept of meeting new people anywhere you are.
Cheers!
Mani
Thanks Mani. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a great 2008!
